First, is dryer getting 220 volts? IF so,jump out thermal fuse to see if that is the problem. I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Kenmore dryer blows cold air. I replaced heat element still no luck? model 96263800

It doesn't necessarily mean the heating element is busted when an electric dryer stops heating. The heating circuit is not just composed solely by the heating element, it is composed by the thermal cut-off, high-limit thermostat, cycling thermostat, motor centrifugal switch, and the timer. The first thing to look at when an electric dryer stops heating is the thermal cut-off. It cuts power to the heating element when it blows most likely due to the failure of the high-limit thermostat. The thermal cut-off must be replaced, together with the high-limit thermostat, if found open. Click on the link below for the detailed instructions in troubleshooting this problem.

My whirlpool AWZ2303 only seems to be blowing cold

If your not getting heat from the machine its probably due to a faulty heating element. You can get the part at an appliance parts shop by bringing them the model number or you can call in a pro repairman to have a look and replace it. Do it yourself is cheaper by far but can be difficult on newer machines like this one.

How do I put a heating element in a dryer?

there are a few differant styles, give me your model number and i will see which one you have.

why do you think it needs an element? if its not getting hot you may have a cheaper and quicker repair than an element

My dryer only blows cold air I replaced the

Yes it is quite possibly your thermostats, A kit can be purchased for the majority of all Whirlpool dryers and is around $30.00 part number is LA-1053. But it can vary based on your model. However the first place i would have technician check is the fuses or breakers inside your home as this can often cause the dryer to only run on 110v when 220v is need to run both the motor and the element.Hope this helps.

Thanks

Whirlpool Dryer (model lg5791xmw1) blows cold air. I switched out the igniter, dryer heated up and we put a load of laundry in. Checked in a half hour and dryer was running cold again. Thermal fuse?

no, cause thats a one shot deal, check your hi-limiy switch on the element case, they get weak from heat and can cause all kinds of (Under-Overheat) problems

I ahve a whirlpool dryer LGC6646A taht will not

This will either be casued by the heating element being broken or 1 or 2 thermal overload switches in the hetaing circuit that are use to protect against over heating. Both are very simple to replace.
