Question about NetGear -DSL Web Safe Router/ RP614 - 4-Port Cable (NEDWEBSARORP)
I bought a used netgear web safe router RP614 v4, but when i connect to my cable modem, the internet is showing orange light, not yellow, if it's shown in yellow, then it should be worked, but it isn't. i don't know why...
and do i need to install anything, if it does, but i don't have the CD, so wondering is there any way to instal without a installation CD.
heaps of thanks in advance.
The router should have reset button on the back. This will reset it to factory defaults. If you have an ISP that gives you internet without a username and password like rogers then you should be good to go. If your ISP is like Bell then you will need to get into the website of the router and configure it.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
