Question about CTX P772 17" LCD Monitor

1 Answer

The image on the screen has shifted down slightly and to the right approximately 1/4 of the entire screen (about 3"). I've tried to adjust the settings using the controls on the bottom of the monitor, but have been unsuccessful. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Black horizontal lines across entire screen.

Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to see the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there or do a search by type in the Brand Name of your device in the Search Box, at the top right of the display window.

The screen has shifted to the right so that i cant see the [X]on any windows. Ive already maxed out the left shift but its still stuck to the right.

does the screen appear distorted;does it move as you shift left/right/up/down? IF THIS IS TRUE, YOU PROBABLYHAVE THE RESOLUTION SET WRONG....RIGHT CLICK ANYWHERE ON THE SCREEN;PROPERTIES;SETTINGS; ADJUST SLIDEBAR TO PROPER RESOLUTION FOR YOUR MONITOR

Display is off-center

Try the Auto adjust button on the monitor buttons first.
If the entire picture of the computer is showing you can try to shift and stretch the picture through the menu button.

Try setting the refresh rate to 60 Hz. (Maybe 75).
Is it xp?
Right click an empty part of the screen, properties, under monitor (I think; I'm on Vista) you can choose the refresh rate.
Most LCD's should be at 60 Hz.

I realized my issue was that the screen was "slightly" zoomed in using the universal access panel in the system preferences. Turning it off, or zooming out completely solved the problem.
