How do i format removable sandisk to jpeg 320x240

You do not, jpeg or jpg is a picture saved format the numbers refer to image size if I understand correctly, are you trying to show a picture on a TV via a usb port with a memory stick (sandisk).
Is the TV "moaning" about what you have on that disk so far?
Memory sticks/devices are formatted like a computer system those under 32Mb are mostly FAT32 which is recognised by most machines, but can be another "type" like FAT (for very old/small memory+systems) NTFS or to suit Mac etc.
The first thing is to format that disk in FAT32 (if new and unused no data on it) via a computer your TV then should recognise it and fire up a menu to try and show its contents etc.
Then you can fill that disk with pictures in jpg format for your TV to show on screen, other formats mainly will not work like TIF or BMP as its software is unable to open them.
I am working in the dark a bit about what is going on with your problem so the above is a bit general in my answer, the other thought I have is that if you have pictures taken by a high definition camera it may create files in jpg that are over large for them to be displayed on older equipment so you may need to reduce their size via a computer program and then show on a TV, this I find is a problem with cameras+images created from 10Mp upwards as older systems+software are unable to cope due to lack of memory mostly.
Hope this helps a bit.........

I want to connect my computer to sony wega triniton kvxr29m80 from the hdmi or vga port to the tv's component or 3rc ports. is it possible..i have tried the hdmi to component cable and it does not...

An HDMI to component video cable will not work. These are meant for projectors that work with computers and have only component in jacks.

You will need is a VGA to Composite video converter, VGA to component video converter or HDMI to component video converter. These translate the computer output to the input the TV will understand. Here are some VGA to component video converters: http://www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/vga-rgb-hv-to-component-video/c10000-c11200-c11215-p1.html . (The exception is if your computer has a TV-out port. In this case, you need an adapter that looks like an S-video plug that will then have composite or component video jacks.) If you want to use the TV speakers, you will also need a 3.5 mm to 2 RCA audio adapter (either M and F/F for an RCA cable to the TV or F to M/M for a 3.5 mm audio patch cable) or cable (3.5 mm M and M/M RCA).

I hope this helps.

(A computer gives RGB output on the VGA cable; the TV reads PbPrY on the component video. Thus you need for the converter rather than a simple adapter. Similar communication differences apply on the HDMI signal.)

Can I connect my PC to my Toshiba 30HFX84 30

You can't connect the PC to the 30HFX84 directly. (The HDMI ports are not compatible with a computer's signal.)

If you use a converter box (VGA to component video), you would be able to get the connection. See this site for some examples: http://www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/vga-rgb-hv-to-component-video/c10000-c11200-c11215-p1.html . Avoid the VGA to component video cables; those are for connecting to a projector that reads RGB signals at the component in.

Some video cards have a TV out option. In that case, you wouldn't need the converter. You might need the appropriate dongle to fit the video card TV-out and then connect the cable to the TV.

Crutchfield has the manual for the 30HFX84 available here: http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/Manuals/052/05230HFX84.PDF .

I hope this helps.

Im not sure how to hook the converter box up to it

For a digital to analog converter box, connect your antenna cable to the converter box. Then pick your output connection. Either set the TV to channel 3 or 4 and connect the coax out from the converter to the TV or connect the composite video (AV) to one of the A/V inputs on the TV (change the TV source to the appropriate input). The source is changed with the remote (TV/Video button).

If you have other devices like a VCR in the connection sequence, you could connect the converter box to the VCR (and record on channel 3 or 4) and then connect the VCR to the TV as above. You will be limited to recording and watching the same program unless you get another converter box or tuner.

Programming the remote will depend on the box. For other set top boxes, the connections will be very similar.

I hope this helps.
