I have a 2003 Cadillac Seville STS and the my air bag and brake light came on dashboard with a alert that said something to the effect of check rider system. Does anyone know what exactly this means.

It would have to scanned with a computer to see exactly what is wrong. It could be the sir module, passenger side airbag, front sensors, or a short in the wiring. Without codes this is as far I can go. Even with codes, sensors and wiring would have to be checked..But codes give you a direction to look.

DCS CT365SS igniter wires?

no not standard. but you can replace them if you know a good place to buy high temp wires. If not buy the upper wire harness for the range and the igniter wires will be in that.

What is the largest mb sd card the kodak dcs pro 14n will read ??

Hello!
Seems the DCS PRO/n do not handel SD cards with HC capabilitys. So the largest SD cars that there is i 4GB. Problems is to find such a card.
In reallity 2GB is possible.
I recomend You to obtain a CF card instead. I use a 16GB CF and it work like a charm.

I suppose the DCS 14/n work the same way.

My DCS range burners with electric start.

Very likely the spark module. All four are supposed to click when one is turned on, however they are supposed to stop when the burner ignites. Replace the module and test. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

Engine failing to start due to electrical problems through ECM

HELLO Rebelsfruit,

Year make & model would HAVE at help...

I would love to help you with your restoration project:
You are currently listed under Volvo S60 ...failure to
Disclose the size & NATURE of your "Shredded" wires
is a LOGISICAL issue on your end (just make sure
the gage, type size and insulation of every "PATCH"
is EXACTLY correct... and if the wires are "twisted" or
braided... That "TWIST" must be duplicated exactly.
(ditto... color (I would recommend a salvage yard
or NEW harness before ever recommending a
ROOKIE field engineering solution)).

Solder and HEAT-SHRINK tubing are the correct way
to put in all your splices... (patching).

The fact that ALL your lights are on is an EXCELLENT
indication... Your system is designed to do that as
part of your INITIALIZATION...
(all the wiring to the dash & the indicators are ALL good
(remove power)).

In order to get DEEPLY into your sophisticated ELECTRONIICS
You MUST observe ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) precautions.

Cheap $6 wristband (wear it...!!)

BBB Industries Premium Alternators Starters Power Steering Products

ELECTRO-STATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) precautions.
(again... cannot be stressed enough)
ESSENTIALLY
That means you do nothing that would generate
ANY SPARKS (you might not even feel) around or near
DELICATE SEMICONDUCTORS you care about...

While vehicular ECU/ECM prices are astoundingly
low... (popular) That only indicates to me that there
is a whole lot of INCOMPTENCE out there...

ASO IMPERATIVE... cheap/cheesy volt meters can
damage SEMICONDUCTOR just as surely as a bullet...

Buy a tone TRACER and learn how to use it...
((trace only ISOLATED WIRES ))...

Only restore power after every engine WIRE
HAS been traced from end to end...!!

Dim LCD's on DCS Double Wall Oven

Had the same problem last week - called DCS (which automatically transferred me to Fischer-Paykel) and was able to order the part from them.  They knew exactly what it was, and shipped to me in CA from CA, it was less than $90.  Just installed it, and the new one works swell.  One suggestion - I drew with a Sharpie on one side of each of the three parts that plug into the board to help align the new one, and to install the wide ribbon cable (not really a cable, but you'll know what I mean), pull up on the two side pieces and the ribbon pulls right out.  Keep it up and slide the new one in and then push the black piece down.  That was the only part that took me a minute to figure out.
