I need 2 install my brother dcp 117c but i dont have the disc how can i install it without disc

make sure the sensor is not stuck and the exit is clean where the paper goes out

In order for you to install this without the setup disc you need to download the software from this link and use it to install the device.

Hi. Try these simple steps:

Turn your printer on,
Plug it in the USB port of your computer,
Click Start,
Click Control Panel,
Open Printers,
Right-click your default printer
Left-click "make this printer on-line"
Then try to print a test page...see if that helped!!!

To install the Brother printer drivers if you do not have the disc, read the information from this link.

Could be many things.. here's a few steps to check:
1. check in printer preferences, make sure the printer is not set to print in greyscale.
2.check color cartridge level as running out of ink will defualt some printers into printing in greyscale.

3. Uninstall all printer software and reinstall it with the CD that came with the printer or go to brothers site and download the latest drivers.

I did not solve the problem , and my printer/scanner is the DCP 117C . Anyway the there was no error in the machine , it is I who does not now how it is done ! .

What is the message? Try unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
