Dear sir my canon ip1000 its waste ink absorber is full it will not print thank you

Better check the services in your computer. Go to printer and faxes in the control panel then select the printer attached to your computer. Go to preferences then look for the service and clean your printer.
You can also remove the print cartridges then clean the waste in k using absorbent cotton. If it does not print at all try to save your work then restart the computer. Sometimes new settings affect after the restart.

The waste ink absorber is full


To reset your Canon IP1000 just simply pull out power cord then press-hold power button, while holding power button insert back power cord. You will notice that the power button indicator lights up upon inserting power cord. then you may release power button and start printer. That will solve your "The waste ink absorber is full" message.

Downside is: you may have to do this frequently if your printer looses power. You will understand what i mean.

You will need to take this into a repair center for them to replace the waste ink absorber. Contact Canon for the nearest repair center.

Temporary Fix
This always works in case you need your printer for Emergency ^_^.
  1. Turn off the printer
  2. And unplug the printer power cable
  3. Press and Hold the POWER button
  4. Plug the power cable again
  5. The indicator (LED) should be green
  6. Press and Release the RESUME button, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange
  7. Press and Release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green
  8. Release POWER button
  9. Windows will detect new printer and you just have to install it again.
  10. It will create a copy of Canon i320 printer. Just delete the old one and rename the copy.
  11. You are done.

u have to clean it mannualy by opening it. if u r not expert give the printer to qualified proffesional

Immovable Cartridge & Printing problems


try to remove the front cover of the printer is 2 screews or 3 and a few clips and whit a clean cloth absorb the waste ink from the waste tank, and this is o quik fix that i use.
