turn off xbox take out hdd count to 10 put it back in and turn on Xbox.

3red lights or the red ring of death can be solve as simply as 123, it's a grievous hardware issue that can only be fixed by Microsoft. There some technicians who can fix it but the problem is after fixing it by an unauthorized xbox technician, once you connect to the xbox server your account will be automatically blocklisted or banned by xbox. The waranty code of the xbox can be broken once you try to open the console. Once its broken there's no chance for you to use the xbox to online. So the best thing will be calling xbox support and they will provide you instructions on how to send your xbox to them and they will fix it. if your xbox is still in warranty, they will replace your xbox with a refurbish one that will work on line.

You should only attempt to repair yourself if your warranty sticker is broken on your xbox.

When Microsoft fixes your RROD (which has a three year manufacture warranty) they give another year warranty on the repaired item.

They replace your motherboard and add heatsinks .


There are solutions on youtube, if you want to do it yourself.

These solutions will violated your 3 year warranty and involve putting an xclamp fix or sticking on some random heatsinks- that will absorb the heat from areas within the Xbox. There are some video you can download from piratebay, but I do not recommend doing this yourself.

Other options:
1)sending your xbox to microsoft for 2-3 months to be repaired.
2)buying another xbox from walmart, and swapping it with your broken one, return the broken one to the store and let them deal with warranty return, while you enjoy the new and unbroken one.

well all you have to do is just put your xbox on its side for 48 hours unplugged and it should just be abel to clear up

if you broken the seal then take it to a xbox repair person.

The joystick breaks when a plastic piece inside breaks. This problem can be fixed using parts from a second broken controller. Open both controller cases, take a good joystick from one (can be left or right) and replace the broken piece in the other. You'll need a soldering iron, solder, and desoldering braid. You don't want to use a desoldering pump as the contacts come off the board VERY easily.

your dvd drive is broken. Thats what it sounds like to me. It cant be fixed you need a new xbox sry
