Canot get picture during video call.

I guess the obvious question here is do you actually have a webcam fitted? If we assume yes then does the camera actually work? Again assuming yes, and assuming we're talking about skype then go into tools>options>video settings. Your camera should be listed, if it is and you are just getting a blank screen, you could try installing a program like many cam http://download.manycam.com/
Now it gets a bit weired. Open the many cam program and go into sources and select your webcam and (hopefully) it should show it working. Assuming it is then re-open skype as before and select manycam as the camera and it should then work. I've had to do this work around on a few HP laptops where the built in cam wouldn't work on skype.

Try reinstalling the video webcam drivers. Is the webcam internal or external? if external, try another usb port.
Which video calling program are you using? Try Yahoo or google talk.

I have installed C8.0 web cam on my PC but I am not able to hear others voice, neither they are able to hear me on yahoo messanger

The web cam, key word being cam, may mean that the camera has no mic for you to speak through which would, in your case be usable only by an entirely different audio input device. Try plugging a mic in and using the same software (after ensuring that the computer is reading the device through control panel) and that the computer is recieving incoming audio from your buddies talking.

When I connect with my contact. They can see. I cannot see them

friend, Since they can hear and see you means that your web cam is functioning fine. It is a problem with their webcam. Ask them to go to settings of their IM and set their webcam as their default cam in Video settings. Then only would you be able to see them.

When making a video call on windows live messenger, the person I'm talking to can see me but not hear me. I can see and hear them. I have tried my webcam's mic in the "sound recorder" program...

Go to tools in the messenger application and choose Audio video setup - run through the wizard and make sure that as it checks the audio that the right audfio system is being used - i.e. the Audio driver for your Web cam that was installed and not the audio driver that came with your PC as standard.

Also check in control panel for the "Sounds and audio devices" icon and check in there to make sure your Microphone volume is turned up and not muted.
