Re: how to clear the full memory on my Panasonic...
To clear ALL memory, turn the machine off, then hold down the SHIFT and CODE keys while turning it back on. Here's a halfway measure. While in normal typing mode, hold down CODE and touch TAB CLEAR to clear all tabs and margins at once. Does not affect any stored text memory. These work with the KX-R340 and all the KX-E series. I presume they'll work with your KX-R440 also. Eric

Switch the machine OFF.
While holding down the Margin-Release key, switch the power back ON....... The machine will begin to print a "self-test".
It will keep on printing the self-test until you switch the power back OFF. After only 1 line of self-test you can switch the machine OFF.
Wait 5 secs, switch the machine back on, and you will have cleared memory.

The WW15 does not have a recallable memory, it has a reprint memory that will repeat what you have JUST typed, code reprt top left kry on the keyboard will activate if you want a full memory get a WW5 or 6.
The reprint automatically stores as you type. I dont believe it can be turned off, however if you use the SAPI feature it clears and starts over. SAPI Semi Automatic Paper Insertion. When inserting paper pull the rt. upper bail arm all the way forward it will indert paper to preset position and clear reprint memory.
