Hi The heating element is used to help dry the dishes. In most dishwashers, the heating element fits around the screen in the bottom of the tub housing; it looks like an electric oven element. The heating element doesn't malfunction often, but it can burn out. If you suspect a faulty element:

Step 1: Test it with a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Remove the dishwasher's bottom access panel and disconnect one of the power leads to the element. Clip one probe of the VOM to each element terminal. If the meter reads between 15 and 30 ohms, the element is working. If the reading is higher than 30 ohms, the element is faulty and should be replaced.

Step 2: As needed, replace the heating element with a new one made for the dishwasher. Disconnect the electrical leads to the element's terminal screws and remove the nuts or other fasteners that hold the element to the terminals. From inside the tub, lift the element out. It may be held by clips and ceramic blocks in the tub, but you can easily thread it past these spacers. Set the new heating element in position, reconnect the power leads, and replace the fasteners that hold the element in place.,,,,,,,,,,,,please rate it

Beko DE2542FS does not heat the water replaced the heater uint already

Replace the heater element only if your tests with a multimeter shows an OPEN CONNECTION.
If there is continuity then the VOLTAGE on the heating element must be checked , if not the program controller unit or the relay drive can be faulty.
Use a multimeter with the power disconnected to trace and confirm.

Goes through its program but does not heat water. Bench checked heater element works ok

If the heater element is working, that leaves the thermostat and the control board. You can test the thermostat and rule that out or pin point it as the problem.

Trying to replace heating element in Beko dishwasher but can't find where element is, can you help

if you have already got the new heater and it looks like this, this it is an inline heater. These are usually mounted where the inlet water enters the wash sump.

Should be connected to the water solenoid which looks like this.

I have beko dishwasher works fine but no hot water is it just the element which needs replacing or could it another problem MODEL DWD4310S

How far is your water heater from your dishwasher. I knew someone who had to get a circulating pump. His dishwasher was so far form the water heater so when the dishwasher would fill, it used the cold water that is sitting in the pipes and by the time the hot water got there, the dishwasher didn't need any more water. the pump will keep the water circulating back and forth to and from the hto water heater. Or you an get one of those electric small heaters that heat on the spot as well.

Beko washing machine

hi there.......this problem could be caused by a failed heater element ...if the element is not heating the machine will just wash wash etc...the front panel will have to be removed to check the heater element....if the element is ok...check the heater NTC ( little white plug in the heater element)...if all ok here....then you have a main PCB board failure....

it may be more economic to have beko send an engineer to you...
