Harman kardon Audio Viseo Receiver shut down- no longer providing sound

All of a sudden our AVR shut off. We have been trying to restore sound, but are not having much success. The dell TV picks up the AVr as a source, but somehow the sound isn't making it to the speakers. any tips? we are clueless technically! Thanks!

As I understand it, these systems use a DIN plug and sometimes these DIN plugs can get damaged seperating connections inside of the plug itself, try testing these connection from the tips of each pin to the other end of the cable and see if you can find a connection for each pin. if so then you have eliminated that as the issue, also, if they are all good and you can get me a diagram of where each color goes, that would be great so I can help others with this issue in the future.

Confusion connecting my receiver to the RCA255 dvd receiver for cd use

Ok is your cash converters purchase a RCA, RTD255 system or is the RCA255 you quote something else, I'll assume that we are dealing with the first, and that seems to be a All in one system that contains speaks amp etc

You also have your new AVR 310 which is amplifier that one would connect a stand alone DVD/CD player to, You wouldn't connect the cash converter purchase to it, it is a seperate system.

You could use your cash converter system alone without the AVR310 but not with it.

Hs 200 harman kardon stop working

Check the capasitors in the power supply. These often have a popped top surface, not flat like normal. These need to be changed. It can be as many as 10-15 bad ones.

How do i fix a noise problem on 6.1 avr 135 ?same trouble occur on alls channels,a high frequency sound disturbing listening.neither inputsi used(cd-dvd-tape)

There are many reasons this may happen, but without having the unit on the bench, it will be hard to tell. It may be oscillating, which would make that sound. You can connect a turntable to the HK receiver provided the turntaable has a phonograph preamplifier. If not one can be purchased. You can use any line input on the receiver.
