Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player

1 Answer

I can't hear songs I've downloaded to my mp3 player once I unplug it from the computer and they don't actually show up in my mp3 even though when I look with my computer, I can clearly see them in the music folder under sansa clip 4gb.

Hmm..that's weird. i would delete all the files i've imported onto my mp3 player and maybe restart my computer. if that doesn't work, check to make sure that the mp3 type is compatible with your sansa player.

hope this helps,
Marianne

Song's won't load, even though the files show

Yeah, the songs are in the wrong format for your player. There are some DRM-protected songs that allow you to play the song on your computer, but they won't actually play on an mp3 player even though they appear to transfer. If you download ALL of your songs in mp3 format, you will never have this problem.

Download songs from ITunes on Macbook to Digital Audio Player

Itunes uses a file format called AAC. There aren't too many players other than the Ipods that can play AAC files. This is why your songs won't play on your Sandisk player. What you need to do is get a mp3 converter, I personally recommend DBPoweramp, excellent program and can convert nearly everything. Once you convert your AAC files to mp3, they should play no problem...

i use free rip pro for copying my cds to mp3.

go to www.freerip.com/ you can download the free version or buy pro for a small amount. pro is just faster really.

once downloaded you can decide where on your computer you store the mp3 files and even if you want to convert the files to other format than mp3. it really is easy to use and works like a dream

hope that this helps

Downloading music

most likely it requires windows media player version 10 or higher which unfortunately is not compatible with windows 98 so that way will not work. You may be able to bypass windows media player by going to the manufactuers website and downloading a specialized driver for windows 98 and then drag and dropping your music onto the pkayer if this doesn't work I am sorry

When you put songs on your mp3 player don't put them in folders if you do.

Also did your mp3 player come with any software, you may need to use the software in order to put songs on.

When you've finished putting songs on do your safely remove your mp3 player from the computer, if not that could be your problem.

Also it could be anything from a small read error, try formating your mp3 player which may fix this problem to do so follow these steps below:

First connect your mp3 player to the computer, once you've done that go to "Start" - "My Computer" - now look for something called "Removable Disk" which is your mp3 player, once you've found it "Right-click" on it then click "Format", once format as complete put music back on your mp3 player, then see if the problems been fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way. Further problems, leave a comment on here and i will get back to you a.s.a.p.

1 gb mp3 player not working

Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
