Question about Magic Chef Microwave Ovens
The button to push the microwave on.....pops right back out. I must stand there holding it down for a couple minutes to heat my water for tea. There must be an easy enough way to fix it, isn't there?? I certainly can't afford to replace it quite yet, plus I really like this microwave. It is a MVP II Magic Chef. I can't figure out a way to get the front panel off to look at the inside.
I need help, please!!!
Thank you, Marianne
When you hold a button in you are bypassing the safety controls Marian. Microwave energy can be deadly so you are taking a chance here. I recommend you consider replacing the oven as the new ovens are cheap and have great features. Service on these units cost more than a new unit.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
