I have an Extensa 5620...I

I have an Extensa 5620...I was installing Blackberry Phone software on the laptop...upon completing the install, I needed to restart...While the computer was beginning to shut down, I accidentally ejected the disk...When it restarted and everytime since then, it immediately takes me to the Windows Recovery Screen where I have the options to start Windows normally or choose between the 3 safe mode options. If I start Windows normally, it begins to boot up, but after the first Windows graphic, the screen goes black. If I attempt to start it in any of the three safe modes, it begins to load necessary drivers and then takes me to the password screen, but freezes, not allowing me to enter any password and then goes to a gray screen in which the moving logo, "An error is preventing the slide show from playing" moves about the screen. Can you help?
