Fuzzy connection on my samsung DLP HLN567W

One of the component connections which I use for my DVD player all of a sudden has a fuzzy picture, I went out and bought new component cables and still didn't work. Can you please give me some suggestions on how to troubleshoot this problem.

Thank You

I tried changing DVD players and I have 3 component connections on my tv and the only one that does not say not supported mode when I hook up DVD player is the one I'm having a problem with. Could it be an internal problem with that specific component connection from my tv?

Try the DVD player on another component connection on the TV. If the picture is still distorted try another DVD player or something with component output. If thre picture is normal with another input device then the issue is the DVD player,

No owners manual can't get new blue ray dvd player to work on tv

Here is the manual:

When using the HDMI connections you may have to tell the DVD to output to that port.  Also you may have to connect additional sound cables from the DVD output to the TV.

Check to see if your DVD player is outputing a progressive scan and turn it off if you are using the S-Video cable, it does not support progressive scanning.

HDMI connection

It is possible that the DVD player is not outputing through the HDMI connector, or the TV has a problem with the HDMI input on the input board. This would have to be properly checked.

Start by calling the tech support for the DVD player to know if there is a setting for this, or if the player is defective.

Then check to make sure that there are no settings in the menu for the TV and player that are keeping the HDMI turned off.

If all else fails, call the tech support for your TV set. The next step will be that you must get the set serviced.

does the cd/dvd player have component hookups or are you just using HDMI cable, lots of tv's are having trouble with the HDMI protocol, I only use component cabling, it has HD capability up to 1080i resolution
