Do you play Playstation 1 game on Playstation 3?

If that is the case.. the manufacture of Playstation 3 have stop installing compability software to play a previous game on their new console.. so Playstation 2 or 1 game are not able to play on PS3..

I you want to play older game you can play using psx or pcsx2 emulator...

Cant play games downloaded for psp

Hello,
make sure that you put the downloaded games in the GAME folder (capital letters are important) which itself is inside the PSP folder (capitals also important) so the folder you would put them in would look like F:\PSP\GAME\
All game files should end with PSP.
To play the games, from the PSP menu go to GAME then press X and scroll to select your game then press X again to confirm.
If your PSP firmware is above 1.5, it might be that you are trying to play protected games and it is why they cannot play.

Make sure you do not violate any intellectual property.
Regards,

I got Halo ODST for christmas, when I put it in, the console asked me to upgrade the system... Ever since the upgrade, I have had problems getting my games to play. When I put the game in, it doesn't say...

There is usually an option where you can change the settings providing you have gotten a new update because that had happened to me and about a week later i got a thing to update and i was able to change settings to what your problem is.

My ps2 scph-3001 will not play new games

I had to change the browser settings. If I turned the diagnosis on and up the disc speed it played the games. Every time I put in a new game I had to go through the changes. It did not work every time, I had to be patient.
