s-video cables dont carry any sound, so no you won't get your surround sound throught that. I would imagine your flat panel is hd so you'll want either an hdmi (which would be best) or component cables. An hdmi would take care of both the audio and video, however if you use component you would then need to hook up an optical cable for your surround sound. hope this helps

Some of the Newer VHS/DVD units don't have cable inputs. If this is like yours you can hook a RCA Audio/Vidio cable from your Samsung TV Vidio/Audio outputs (if set has them) to VCR/DVD inputs................... Larry

If you have a Play station 3 game console it has that capability.
or some PCs have vidio outputs that you can hook to your TV.

Hi, yes, you  can hook this camera up to a VCR. You need a BNC to RCA adaptor and a RCA cable. You can purchase these items at Radio Shack. Just connect the VIDEO OUT, which is a BNC connector to your yellow VIDEO IN RCA jack on the VCR. If you dont see video, then you might have to switch the 1st dip switch to enable the iris on the lens to open and let light through. Here is the manual:

THe easiest option would be to buy a device callled a Dazzle. These devices allow you to hook up the RCA style cables into the computer. THere are numerous brands of (Video Capture Devices) so go to your local electronics store and find one that fits your budget

If your camera has audio vidio cable (just get a cheap one which has a yellow, red and white connector) connectors. simply plug them in the audio vidio out on camera and audio vidio in on TV and thats it.

YES, DOES YOU PACIFIC VIDEO HAVE COMPONENT , COMPOSITE OR HDMI OUTPUTS ON THE BACK ? THE HDMI HAS BOTH AUDIO AND VIDEO SIGNALS AND IS THE BEST QUALITY PICTURE. BUY THE CABL AT RADIO SHACK, WALMART ETC.
COMPOSITE IS THE YELLOW RCA CONNECTOR FOR VIDEO AND RED AND WHITE RCA CONNECTORS FOR LEFT AND RIGHT AUDIO.COMPONENT IS THE RED, BLUE AND GREEN RCA CONECTORS AND RED AND WHITE FOR AUDIO L & R.
