Question about Ricoh Aficio CL3500N Laser Printer

I have a ricoh aficio mp c3500 that has sc 792 error.

It also keeps saying add cyan toner even though i used a new toner and does not load cyan toner.Could you help me out please?

SC792 is a Finisher error the machine does not recognize the finisher, but recognizes the bridge unit. Check the connections between the finisher and the machine. look for defective connector, defective harness or incorrect installation.

Maybe you don't have finisher but a bridge unit is install ? If that is the case remove bridge unit.

Cyan toner pump is probably dead. the parts number is B223-3203 or B223-3253. here is a link for order new one

finisher cable not plug into copier. I f you don't have a finisher don't worry about it or you need to remove bridge unit to get rid of code.

The Ricoh Mp 2000 copier displays "Error occured Sc:545 Functional problem"


It's a fuser overheat error enter service mode to clear, if it comes back service call ( push in sequence clear modes(yellow) 1 0 7 hold down stop for 5 or so seconds, screen will change, power down, red switch. -Carl

Brother dcp9040 cn . you had advised me before. replaced toner cartridges. continue to say load cyan toner. had reordered a new cyan toner and replaced it. removed drum . it still contiue to say load cyan...


Try reseting the toner cartridge via the operations panel.

Do this by opening front door and pressing clear/back button, a menu will appear, we want to select C-TNR-S or C-TNR-H depending on if you are using Cyan/TonerStandard or Cyan/Toner/High Capacity, so use arrows to go to correct one then press ok to select it, then a new menu appears, we want to select 1 and ok to reset, then it should just go back to cover open.

That should do it, have you tried it? as I think I told you the same before, I also need to know if you are using original brother branded toners or refill/remanufactured ones. You can reach me via this question

Replaced toner cartridges magenta, yellow cyan printer display now says replace cyan cart. i have reloaded and even put in the old one i even replaced the drum with the pevios one. same message

Can you tell me the exact model of Cyan toner you are using as there are two for this model a high and a low capacity one, and I also would like to know if you are using original brother branded toners or refill or aftermarket/non brother/"for use in toners". If you are using after market toners then the toner itself is probally faulty, these machines dont just sence new powder they look for a new chip to tell machine it has had its toner replaced, then the chip is blown so it cant reset the machine again, refillers have to put in a new chiop and powder if the chip they use fails then it doesn'r reset the machine, exactly like your problem.

If your are using brother branded original not refilled toners then we could have other issues so please then try the following. Please ensure the contacts on the drum and coresponding ones on the front door are clean. Gently tiny wipe metal wire contacts with a lint free cloth or a cotton bud with metho/alcohol, dont bend them they are delicate, see pic at end for location

Please also try to reset the toner manually, do this by openning front door and pressing clear/back button, a menu will appear, we want to select C-TNR-S or C-TNR-H depending on if you are using Cyan/TonerStandard or Cyan/Toner/High Capacity, so use arrows to go to correct one then press ok to select it, then a new menu appears, we want to select 1 asnd ok to reset, then it should just go back to cover open.

Also you could let me know what code comes up if you press menu * 2 8 6 and 4 real quick!!, if you do fast enough its tricky but then you should see maintence in display and it will beep, then select 82, and it will show eroor ?? let me know the code...also try to do a 80 it will print out a code sheet that I would normally read to identify problem, and finally in maintence mode select 99 to perform reset, you machine should go back to normal and out of service mode.


Hope this helps, or if required give me more detailed info and we will dig deeper.

I have a xerox phaser 6280, i keep getting this message say i need to " Check Cyan " cartridge. but its a brand new cartridge, its full of ink. can you please tell me how to fix this issue.


Remove the cyan ink cartridge and shake it. Be careful not to spill any toner. If that does not solve the problem it is most likely a dirty sensor. What I usually do is remove all toner cartridges and blow out the inside with an air compressor. Be very careful when doing this and try to use very low pressure so that nothing gets damaged.

Hello. Problem with my Konicia Minolta Magicolor 2400. Replaced the drum with a new OEM. Replaced the Cyan toner with a new OEM and the error message still flashes. The status screen says put in a new Cyan...


Hello,
probably it's bad chip on cartridge or the chip was not reset.
Try with new toner cartridge. If its new go to the shop where you bought it and replace for new one under warranty.( If you are lucky and they give you a new one :-) ).
