Question about IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer for PC, Unix
The installation of Websphere Studio cannnot continue because the following required parts are missing from the electronic images. Download the required parts and run the installation program again.
When I installed the Websphere Studio in the past on my system I installed DB2 first; the Websphere Studio was suppliment to the Universal Database. Remember this software was originally compiled for a IBM Unix System (AIX), the Websphere Studio has an integraded Apache Webserver with IBM and Sun Microsystems libraries; it just has been ported to run on a NT Kernel so that developers have access to the libraries. Make sure you have all the install files and the disc is not corrupted; use windows file and folder search targeting the CD drive to see if that binary file is on the disc. If it is on the disc try copying the files and folders to the hard drive; if the disc is corrupted the operation will fail.
