Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

Printing swerves to the left.

This problem just started the other day. Every time I print (anything from Microsoft Word, Adobe Reader, CorelDRAW), always tends to swerve. The worst print-out is printing from Word.

I use a continuous ink supply system.

How can i print an adobe document

If you mean an Adobe PDF document then you can view and print it from the free Adobe reader program available from Adobe's website. If you've already tried this and are not successfully the PDF file may be locked to prevent printing it. You can't remove the lock in Adobe Reader but you could try printing a screen shot of each page.

How To Add Page Numbers to Prints / Copies on a Sharp Copier

This is a simple question that I am often asked, and I decided to put together a little guide on how to add page numbers in various programs/applications as well as from the copier's touch screen. Originally I thought this was something that could be dictated from a Sharp print driver, but it's not. It's accomplished by adjusting the settings of the actual document before you print it out.

Print Page Numbers Onto Copied Documents

1. On the Home screen, touch Copy

2. On the Copy screen, touch Others at the bottom-left

3. On the Others Screen, touch Stamp

4. On the Stamp screen, move to the Page No. tab, then choose the location of the page where you want the page number. You can also choose the pattern or text style that you want the page number to be on the left side of the menu.

5. Touch OK. Your copies will have the page number stamped in the position you chose.

Printing Page Numbers from Microsoft Word or Excel on a Windows PC

1. Open your document
2. Once you're ready to print the document, move to the Insert Tab, and choose Page Number, then choose the position where you'd like the page number printed, and the type/style of the numbering.
3. Your print outs will now have the page number printed on them.

Printing Page Numbers from Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Reader

First of all, Adobe Reader cannot add page numbers to PDF print outs. It's a READ ONLY tool incapable of editing documents. You'll need either Adobe Acrobat Pro, or software similar to what BatesNumberer.com offers.
There is a great video on tv.adobe.com that details how to add page numbers via Adobe Acrobat.

In Conclusion

Make the necessary changes to your document to add page numbering before you print it, or before you copy it. There are a ton of other great tutorials for Sharp copiers/printers at www.youtube.com/equipmybiz

Download this manual >> http://www.mediafire.com/?i0y9iqnqu79ppcj Go to page #203(6-15) Paper Feeding problems (wrinkles or creases) and follow the troubleshooting steps.
Note: PDF manuals require the Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing. http://get.adobe.com/reader/

Printing an 5.5 " by 8.5 " announcement on my inkjet printer

Dear Sppamelot You did not write the software name, in which you are working. Place / open your document in word, coreldraw or pagemaker, photoshop or adobe reader. Put this document exectly in page shown on your screen, where you want to print. Size dosn't matter. it will print exect that place, where you have put it.
