Refer its user manual for details. Normally, contrast 75%, brightness 40% & color 35% should provide you a good picture.

I have an Sceptre 37"


For most TVs in the market, you would use their DYNAMIC or VIVID mode for the best picture settings.

Contrast really dark but seems to improve after the tv has been on several hours


Hi:
You may have a problem with the inverters in the unit, they are responsible for lighting up the back panel. Check or have checked the power supply voltage to the inverters, should be around 18-24 volts DC. Also leaky capacitors on the power supply will cause this issue as well as leaky or puffy capacitors on the inverter.

What are the best picture settings for the 52" Sharp Aquos LCD


I'm happy with:

backlight +16
contrast +40
brightness +1
colour -13
tint 0
shaprness +2

although I found this setup but haven't tried it yet

backlight +5
contrast +24
brightness -7
colour +50 (review I found didn't say + or -. Try both
tint 0
sharpness -5

Samsung tv settings


it depends on what your using it for, adjust colour tones to what you think looks natural, contrast between 80-90, keep sharpness below 30. just have a play around till you find what best suits the source material.
