Harley twincam 120 sounds like spark knock on accel after reaching 2500 rpms

Hi Tom, and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel octane rating too low.
2. Faulty spark plugs.
3. Incorrect spark plug for the kind of service.
4. Excessive carbon deposit on piston head or in combustion chamber.
5. Ignition timing advanced due to faulty sensor inputs (MAP, CKP, CMP)
Good luck.

To hard wire the charger for a 220 v 20 amp ..after i run the 4 wires into the unit (black to black red to red green to green ) where do i put the white it just has to places left one is marked with a...

Without knowing what kind of charger you're wiring, I have a couple questions: I'd like to see the circle and square icons you are describing - and I'd like to know the name and model of the charger you have. Failing that; I can offer a couple things: First, you should attempt to obtain the wiring information for the device.

I would tend to agree that "black to black red to red green to green" are most likely going to be correct, where, red and black are both line voltage wires on a 240 volt system - and green is ground or "equipment ground".

White wires, are generally "neutral" or the common point between the two line voltage wires. As such, it has a 0 volt (or very, very low) potential to ground Many 120/240 volt systems also ground this common neutral point, but this does not happen all the time - and should not be done unless required by local electrical code and electrical system.

Most 240 volt devices do not make use of a neutral wire, unless the device or appliance needed 120 volts for a part of it (the clock or frying pan outlet on old electric ranges comes to mind). If a neutral were introduced, it would really become a 120/240 volt device instead of a device that could be wired straight 120 or 240 volt. If the charger you have is indeed a 240 volt device - and does not need a 120 volt circuit, you should be able to omit the neutral connection. If I knew the info I'd like to have in my first paragraph, would make me feel much more comfortable offering this advice.

I hope this helps & good luck!

I have a philips bodygroomer BG2020 with charger ratings of 110-120V in and 3.7V, 95mA 3W out. I move outside the US and require a 240V AC input charger. I got a rplacement charger from Philips whic was...

I think the difference of 0.6 volts on the 220 volt charge will not cause any damage as the currect factor is low. this is due to the fact that the incremental voltage of 0.6 will compensate for the difference.
The other option for you is to use a step down transformer 220to 120 volt( 50 mA rating)

I have a hp g60, i have a really weird issue. Some times my laptop stops charging suddenly and the small led next to my charging input slot does not show any light. I checked my charger its showing...

Kind of vague. It could be the port on your laptop where the charger plugs into. It could be bad, or could have a bad connection to the motherboard due to use or manufacturing defect. When the charger stops charging then it has to use the battery power. This morning the battery may have had a low charge causing the laptop to shut down. Did you notice the battery's power level before it shut down? If you are wiggling the end of the charger that is plugged into your laptop to get it to start charging again, then that is most likely your problem. Do not wiggle it , for it could fry your motherboard. If that is the case then that port needs to be re-soldered.

What will happened if i did inserted the 120volts charger to 220 volts?it was supposedly done to 120volts..can i still use the charger nor can i fixed it?

If the charger is rated only for 120 volts and it doesn't work after plugging it into 220, it is probably toast. Anything can be fixed, but unless you are a expert, it is probably cheaper to buy a new charger.

"Black screen of death" iriver H10 6GB color

sounds like incorrect charging voltage and amperage may have fried some of your components.

Could try selling it on ebay as-is to make some money toward another unit.

You can get a top notch 20gb refurb unit from ebay sellers (like metromania) for $40-60. I have 2 refurbs and 1 built from parts from as-is units.

I have a HP-120, and got fried due to incorrect charger plug. What can it be done?

Since the board is fryed, yes most likely due to incorrect voltage etc. Replace the mainboard or then you need to do very deep testing on it.
Or throw it away and buy a new one.

be careful I once fried an IHP-120 by using the wrong charger. I replaced the battery but taht wasn't the issue. I had it replaced with a IHP-140 and now my old charger has gone too. I got a replacement through the company I bought it from but they have none left.
