I found the owner manual online but of course it does not have the info you want.
Suggestion is to call LG customer service to see if they will help you.

You are correct. Polaroid does not make the screws available. You will have to obtain locally, per Polaroid.

Check the kitchen drawer next to the fridge for the screws !!
When you get new screws, use lengths 1/2".. any longer and you might hit something inside.
Don't know why this is posted under IS-LCDTV26.. I would pull a screw from my 26" and measure it, but it's most likely different than your 42"

Had same problem with Insignia TV...#12 - 24 x 1/2" machine screws...found at Home Depot in bagged items (can't use longer because some of the holes don't go all the way thru)
