Hi my laptop developed a strange problem. I formatted the system drive and installed a fresh copy of windows 7 ultimate sp1. now at the boot up the laptop makes loud annoying ringing bell sound for a few...

Is the "ringing bell" sound a series of beeps? A computer will have beep codes at start up for the user to identify system errors. Count the beeps, one long and 2 short or 3 short beeps or one continuous beep, etc. Then you can search to find what that specific beep code stands for. As for the the touchpad you may need to go into the system properties, right click on my computer, click properties and then click device manager on right. Click the "+" next to mice and other pointing devices. Double click on the touchpad device and then the driver tab. Click update driver and see if it finds a better driver. Or do a windows update. Sometimes the problem can be fixed there. Lastly, and oddly enough, try to take out your battery when the power cord is plugged in. I have seen cases where a bad battery can cause problems with the touchpad and keyboard. I hope one of these helps!

Trying to drive this pair of speakers. Do you need to have batteries in them? do you have drivers or are they plug and play? If they need drivers can you send them in an email?

What manufacturer of speakers? What model-number?

Most speakers do _NOT_ have any "plug-and-play" capability -- they simply are electro-mechanical devices (amplifier, analog controls).

The amplifier needs power, either batteries, or an AC adapter, to convert the low-level outputs from the sound-card to bigger signals -- enough to move the speaker-cones to push air around, to make sound-waves.

How do i change the bios battery in my evesham computer . how do i restart ? it says press f1 to start or del to enter set up at the moment every time i turn on the computer and i have to set time and date

The BIOS battery is a round battery on the motherboard inside the computer. You need to open up the side of the computer. Then, look inside the computer and look for a 1" round silver battery. (Since Evesham) is not built in the US, I am not 100% familier. However, it should say "2032" for the size. It will say 3V etc. on it. It's a matter of sliding the battery out of the holder (and be careful) not to break. Then, slide in the new battery.

When the computer says "del" to enter setup; do so. The menu to set the clock; and other information should be straight forward (using +/-) keys to set the clock. Then be sure to SAVE the settings.

Once those steps are taken, the error should go away and you will be set to go. If you find this helpful, i welcome kind words; and 5 hands :)

Need batery drivers and video drivers and audio device is not detected can u help me plz

First: there are no drivers for battery
second: Video drivers and audio drivers can only be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

For eg: dell, acer, hp, compaq whatever.
go to their website, go to support or downloads and then select your computer model and select operating system like xp, vista, 7
then select the drivers you want.
and download them and run them directly.

Best of Luck!

Please rate this solution, if you find it helpful. :)

I have intel 845GVSR motherboard for P4 CPU and i am unable to install audio driver from Intel CD ROM So how to find & install audio driver?

Check your "BIOS" to see whether the audio device is enabled!!
For the Intel Mobo 845GVSR is a discontinued product by INTEL, and also check your CMOS CR2032 3V battery if it need to be replaced.

If you have the MOBO CD all the drivers are there but maybe the drivers are outdated.

I've re-installed Windows XP on a ESystems 3090 laptop, but the battery is failing to be charged at all. Am i missing drivers or is the internal battery dead ?

your operating system probably requires more juice than the battery is capable of. batteries do tend to fail as they get older. This is usually not a driver issue.

32 Bit or 64 Bit Windows Vista ( 3 Questions)?

Answer 1: The 64-bit version of Vista includes a 32-bit bubsystem to run 32-bit apps. I have not encountered a problem with it yet.
Answer 2: The power is consumed by hardware, not software, so with the same power settings you will see no difference in battery life.
Answer 3: Sorry, I couldn't locate any information about that model. You may be able to find appropriate drivers from other sources by pulling all available details from your existing drivers and searching the mfr website for them.
