Question about Samsung HP-R5072 50 in. Plasma HDTV
I just recently purchased a 50" Samsung Plasma TV. while watching tv the volume automatically goes all the way up and we can't control it. It doesn' allow us to turn off the tv or push any other buttons. We have to unplug the tv in order to adjust. What could this be? Is there a setting that we're missing or need to adjust? Please help!
In the menu, there should be an option for AUTO VOLUME, see what this is set at, change it and see if it works. Also there is another option for INTERNAL MUTE, though I still haven't found out what it's for, myself. Give both a go. If neither of these work, try looking at the support pages on the Samsung website. Other than that, I can only suggest you take it back to where you purchased it, and ask for an exchange.
