Red light is on the Iriver H-140 and it doesn't turn on.

I had my I river on the table nest to a cool mist humidifier accidentally all night long. When I woke up the Iriver would just turn on a red light and nothing would appear in the screen. This happened 3 months ago so the Iriver is completely dry inside. I even opened it up to double check that it is dry. How do I fix this problem or where can i send it to be repaired? Iriver has never responded to any of my emails. Thanks

On irivers site is a company called avsense there info is on there site i sent mine after i accdentely got mine wet anf for 67 bucks it works great!!!!

Mainstays Cool Mist Humidifier 1 gal MDH-0103JW Low Tank Indicator Auto Off NEW Manual

Here are the instructions for the Mainstays Cool Mist Humidifier 1 gal MDH-0103JW:
  1. Remove the water tank by lifting it straight up and off the base.
  2. Turn the water tank over and remove the tank cap by turning it counterclockwise.
  3. Fill the tank with cool water and replace the cap by turning it clockwise.
  4. Place the tank back onto the base, making sure it is seated securely.
  5. Plug the humidifier into an electrical outlet.
  6. Press the power button to turn on the humidifier. The power light will illuminate.
  7. Press the mist button to select the desired mist output level.
  8. The humidifier will automatically shut off when the water level in the tank is low.
  9. To refill the tank, repeat steps 1-4.
Note: For optimal performance, it is recommended to clean the humidifier weekly. Please refer to the user manual for detailed cleaning instructions.

Brand new. Why doesn't it work and won't mist?

if not working and is new, call your cust service for the humidifier and tell them, they will determined if u can fix or needs to be replaced, this is the only way

Won't blow mist out

I have a similar problem. I found a crack in the tank. I am trying to find out if it is cheaper to replace the tank, or just buy another one. I have tried other types and like this one the best.

Humidifier makes a huge noise and no mist

According to the Crane's Troubleshooting section:
The power light is green but there is no mist being emitted:
- Check that there is water in the tank.
- Check for possible lime deposits on the water level sensor or the nebulizer.
- Make sure that nothing blocks the vapor output slots.
- Check that the fan vent on bottom of humidifier is not blocked.
- Empty the humidifier and rinse the water basin with cool tap water and allow to dry for 15 to 30 min.

This next part may or may not be relevant.
Humidifier power light is staying red and not turning green. Or, Humidifier is working then stops:
- Ensure that water level sensor is assembled properly.
- Clean water float.
- Call service center and request replacement water float.

Air-O-Swiss 7133

Okay, I just started getting this same deal with my 7133 on it's third season. I found in a blog that if you hold down the button that controls the heat while turning the mist knob on, it resets the machine. It worked. The red light went green and I turned off the heat button for cool air and the upper light still stayed green. Fingers crossed this continues to work. good luck!

Iriver PMP-140 boot failure message

when i turn on my Iriver PMP-140 it comes up with a message reading
Boot Failure
System file has an error.
To solve the problem, connect the device to computor.
(refer to 'trouble shooting' on the manuel)
Filmware Ver. 1.24
I dont have a manual though.
