Question about Televison & Video
Toshiba dvd SD-2900 says "disk error" when disk is loaded. The player is only a couple of years old and rarely used. We have tried different dvd's, with the same results. I have the manual and there is no mention of 'disk error'
The drive cannot read data from the disk, follow these instutions:
if you are using vista, right click on "computer" then select "manage" then select "device manager". look down the list until you find CD/DVD and click on the + icon next to it, then right click on the CD/DVD and select un-install (make sure that there is a disk in the drive, preferably a movie or music CD) then restart the computer, when the computer restarts vista will detect the drive and install the drivers again, look in computer to see if the disk has been recognised
