I have brought a data cable for my lg kg290 mobile phone, but not sure how to transfer my music onto it.
i tried putting a mp3 usb lead in to my mobile and it malfuntioned does it have to be a special lead?
If the cable fits into the phone and the windows discovers the phone as a drive then you could simply go to my computer and enter your phone's drive and copy paste whatever you want providing your phone has enough mem.
If the windows doesn't discover your phone as a drive then you r going to have to find the proper software for that phone (nokia suite or ericson or your brand connection suite).
If your windows doesn't see nothing when you plug in your phone then the cable is not the right one or your phone needs to be switched to pc mode.

I had this very same problem with my LG mobile. it seems LG hate music transfers well actually anything to do with memory cards. to get your music to play on your phone
1# connect your phone to your pc using the cable
2# open up my computer and open up your phone folder. there may be 2 bu try each one and you will see which one is your memory card
3# choose your music and copy and paste it into the memory card folder in the music folder. if its not put in the music folder your phone wont bother tryng to read it from off your card.
one other thing you may find is that when you try and safely remove your phone through the proper way it may come up saying that it is still being used by a program. this always comes up weather it is or not, best thing to do is make sure it isnt and disconnect the usb end of the cable.
aswell as music the same goes for pictures and movies, just copy and paste into correct folder
Make sure your music is mp3,wma,aac,aac+,or eaac+ format.Insert the micro sd card into the slot underneath the sim card in the back of the phone.Turn on the phone and connect it to ur pc using a usb data cable once the portable device pops up on ur screen use the second option. From within windows media player songs will populate the left side of the screen.check drag songs to be transferred then click start sync when finished tap cancel on the phone then yes to exit music and disconnect the usb cable.
i think you should check the file type of the music you download. maybe it does not match with the one that should be dowloaded in your mp3 player. but im not that sure. just check for the other answers. try to download some audio or mp3/mp4 converter to convert the one you download with to the one that you want to download on your mp3. like for example. music.mpeg to music.wav or music.mp3, something like that
hi, first can you tell me where you got the cable. I have looked all over for one. When you plug in your phone it should show as a mass storage device, but only if you have a memory card fitted. the best way to get songs to your phone is to use windows explorer and drag and drop the files from the pc to the memory card. the phone doesnt have enough internal memory to use bluetooth for mp3 and you carnt save to the memory card via blootooth. firstname.lastname@example.org
i suggest you dont put in the music through ur computer but through bluetooth . if you have a mac that would be a good way as the macbook hav bluetooth . i have a KE970 but it wont start it restart automatically over and over again . i think the problem is because of a virus i got while downloading imgaes from the net . so make sure you check if you got viru's on the song .
