I don't know how a Sharp Cash Register works but computers reset to default orignal date (i.e. mine is 01-01-2008) when the battery of CMOS is discharged. You can setup current date but when you turn off the computer, it resets to this original date. Might be the same problem with your Cash Register?

Go to system option and on Contineous Journal select 0

turn key to PGM then

for Date enter MMDDYYYY press CA button (example) 09282012
for time enter hhmm press CA button (example) time must be in military time increments for example 11:00PM will be entered as shown (2300).2300 hours will showupon your receipt as 11:00 PM. If you have any problems with SHARP equipment call 1-800-BE-SHARP.
