SOURCE: pioneer cmx 3000 display problem
Hi, there is a fuse blown in the drive unit , it is a 315mA small fuse (that looks like a brown color resistor ) in the -40Volt line .
It is located on the smaller pcb where the cinch plugs are located .
If You are not a technician find one and tell him this info
I just repaired one today with this problem .

If your using burned CDs try burning them at lower speeds lower then 24x like 4x,8x,16x also try different brand disc. It's a common problem with poor quality discs and burn speeds higher then 24x
