When I try to play a video using real player or windows media player the computer freezes and I have to switch off and restart. I have only had this problem since installing the N6200 graphics card.Help please.
You could try with reinstalling the drivers for the graphic card. Another problem could be that you don't have all the codecs needed (But it doesn't usually freeze windows, only the software). Try downloading a codec pack from the following site:

After you download the klite mega codec to your computer, you need to install it.After installing the klite codec you don't need to use the real player anymore. You can use your windows media player to play DVD
Your system must be having media codec issues, please download and install this. click here. After the installation is completed, restart your computer and play any media with the windows media player or you can also play media with a play included with the software (media player classic).
Open this link (click here), download one of the available packs from the lists, install it and restart your computer. Now play any media file like audio or video using your windows media player, hopefully it'll work, if the problem persists, try with another player (Classic Media player) which comes with the KliteMega codec Packs, you'll be able to play them.
You can also try them with another player (Vlc Media Player) which supports almost all media types.
Since your question is not so clear, I have to assume myself that pictures and videos saved on your phone can't play on your computer after they are transferred to your computer. The message simply means that the codec installed on your system does not support the media type that you are playing. If you don't have any other player installed on your system you have to try with this one Vlc media Player(click here to download). Download it, and install, now open the downloaded files (video or pic or audio) using this player. Hopefully that should work. Alternatively you can use this player instead of Windows Media Player, but on the other hand, you can still play those files using Windows Media Player. The only thing you need is to install a codec, like Klite megacodec packs, Acemega codec packs, etc.. Click here to download Klite mega codec packs Download, Install and restart your computer, now you'll be able to play any type of media file using your windows media player and other players. If you have problem, let me know. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.
Go to my computer scroll to sansa or your MP3 player and open the music folder and open each sub folder and delete Songs manually then delete the folders them selfs then format a couple of times hope this works.........Try and drag and drop from your music folder to the media folder on the player make sure usb mode is mtp this will show you all the folders Use your windows explorer for the transfer... much easier..... Then disconnect from your computer and see if it worked Hope it does..........Please rate
do you have video software installed ? Real Player, Jet Audio, Windows Media Player .......etc
make sure you have them and if you're trying to play a move, look at the extension ( Name.WMV) .WMV is for windows media video, which works on windows media player. you have to have the right program to play the video you want depending on the extension.
I have Jet Audio, its a very good program that can play many types of movies. you just go to preferences ---> file type associations ---> then check all and it will play almost any video or audio file you have. without needing to download all other software. One For All
Use a different media player. If it if purely watching videos, I would go something like VLC player. It plays (at least with what I have seen) everything. It is also free, loads faster then WMP, and simple.
Mind you this will not play Real Player videos. You can get a addon to WMP called Real Alternative to do that though.
