There should be a connector at the bottom of the door , if you get water to here but not through the dispenser then the line is frozen in the door . This can sometimes be cleared by connecting a steamer to the pipe and letting the steam thaw the ice blockage but this will not generally be a permanent repair . If water is not getting to the connector then it may be a frozen water tank in the fridge compartment or a faulty valve

Everything normal on my GE Profile Model PFSF6PKWBBB French door bottom freezer refridgerator except the water dispenser just quit dispensing water. Is it frozen? How do I fix it?

The paddle that you push the glass against to dispense water activates a microswitch. Sometimes this switch can break off it's mount and drop away from it's intended position. The microswitch operates a solenoid valve near where the water line enters the back of the fridge. Then there's the wiring in between them. The water line doesn't go through the freezer. It runs through the refrigerator in a coil of tubing then into the door of the dispenser. Check the paddle switch, the water solenoid and the wiring and you'll find the reason it doesn't work

Will not dispence water

My water dispensor INSIDE the door froze up.
I payed a repair guy $75 to use MY BLOWDRYER to "thaw" the frozen water line INSIDE the freezer door (below the water dispenser).

He said anytime the frozen food extends over the freezer shelf and touches the freezer door for a long enough period of time, the water line inside the door FREEZES!!

PREVENTION: "Keep some airspace between the door and frozen food."

Water will not dipence from door

Most of the time when this happens it is because the water line to the dispenser is frozen. Most refrigerators have a plastic tank or a large coil of plastic line located behind the food drawers and shelves in the refrigerator side. Try to locate yours and heat it up with a hair dryer to defrost it. There is two other things it could be but they are way more rare........The first is the water valve in back of the fridge, but if you hear a noise when you press the water lever on the door then it is not the water valve. The second thing is the button that the water lever presses when you want water. It is located behind the dispenser cover, but they rarely go bad. I would bet on a frozen water line.

There may be an issue with the water dispenser line freezing in this model. The fix for it might be this dispenser water tube heater kit # WR49X10173. Hope that helps you out and best of luck

Not getting water from dispenser in door

if you can get ice but not water from the dispenser then suspect a frozen water line within the door . Check you get water to the connector at the bottom of the freezer door. Sometimes you can clear the blockage by connecting a steamer to the pipe but this will only be a temporary fix . If the pipe has frozen within 6 inches of the dispenser outlet then there is a heater mod that can be fitted WR49X10173

Water does not dispense

there should be a water line that runs from the reservior that is in the fridge compartment under the appliance to a connector at the bottom of the freezer door, if water is getting to there then the water line within the freezer door is frozen . If water is not getting there then the reservior may be frozen or the watervalve may be faulty
