1999 chrysler 300m stalls when coming to stop and low power

My '99 300M died at an intersection. It restarted but seemed under powered. It died at another intersection a few miles later. It would not restart until it cooled down. Now it will start but lacks power, shifts late and the oil light comes on when the enging slows to about 1500RPM

Change the Cam Position Sensor.. It done the same thing on mine. The sensor runs about
40. to 60.00 at most parts stores Your gonna have to take off the upper intake or plenum to
get access to it. Top of the engine right side, you'll see it

Car dies without warning

The symptoms you describe are similar to what I experienced on a 1994 Fiat 900cc. Sometimes it would just die and immediately restart, just to die again. Other times it would surge, almost like a misfire. There were no dashboard lights or error codes.

I disconnected the electrical wire on the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor) and the car ran pretty ok... so I then replaced the MAF.

Try cleaning your mass airflow sensor to see if that makes any difference. You'll probably find a video on Youtube.

I was driving and my car suddenly died but i still had power now it wont turn over and my lights dim slightly

Based on your description, it sounds like you may have an engine siezure. Is there oil in the crankcase? Was the temperature gauge running high before it stopped? Did the engine seem to be loosing power or any instrument lights come on before it stopped?

2001 Chrysler 300M repeatedly stalling; mechanics can't replicate

well, the power steering will freeze when the motor is not running. the mechanic may not find what seems to be the problem specially when no warning lights are coming. you can try replacing the fuel cervo and this will surely help. not everyone knows about this.

Engine dies in stop and go traffic while in normal low idle;coming off a high speed highway and the coasting ,engine dies also; starts up right away and then engine check light comes on and car works...

1999 300M 150,000 Miles

Car dies when coming off acceleration or at idle in traffic or at a stop. I can watch the Tach go to 0 RPM, some times it will restart immediately other times it is hard to start, so far I have always been able to re-start it and Drive on. Does anybody have verified fix for this issue, I have seen posts saying can and crank sensor, throttle body, EGR, and many more ideas... Do not really want to just start replacing parts with the hope that I eventually get a fix. Help...
