New wii user. menu says it can't read the disk.

We tried the trouble shooting. Clean disk, didn't work.. Tried a diffedrent game disk. Same message. can't read the disk. ???

It's sometimes confusing which side is "up" for the Wii. Did you try flipping the game disc and re-inserting? Maybe that will help.
