Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Web Camera
Hello. I've recently hooked up my Lifecam VX-3000 on a Windows XP machine. I can open the lifecam program and the video works fine. It displays the image and all. I can edit the settings, and I've been through the wizard to set it up numerous times.
My problem is that the buttons along the bottom to capture a picture, sound clip, or video clip are all greyed out. I've been through the troubleshooting in the helpfile a few times with no success. Closed all other programs on my computer that could possibly interfere, changed USB ports and everything.
Is there something simple I'm missing here?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
