Hi again,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me".

Suggested TV cards were:

Of course, any other TV card compatible with the G5 would serve the purpose. Might I suggest try to get one that has multiple INPUT capability not only RF/ANT/CABLE; but likewise with composite, S-video and any others.

Might as well mention that there are China made products that claim capability of removing the "copyright code" and are comparatively inexpensive. Some are good as they are being used by counterfeiters, but then again, of course quality is a question.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

The advantage of multiple INPUT mode capability of the TV card would allow you to try any mode of output from the Daewoo 6700P's that would prove to be to produce the best quality.

    Possibly
another area to explore is to use two devices, an old VCR as the player
and the new Daewoo 6700P as the DVD recorder except the audio/video
composite connections not used. Rather RF OUT of the old VCR to RF IN
    of the Daewoo 6700P.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

The charging light does not stay when charging Phillips portable DVD player DCP850/37 is charging. Plays fine when plugged in but when I unplug it won't turn, please help. I have 2 of them.

You might have to get another battery for it. Just look on ebay or amazon for one. And if you DON'T like to use your credit card online just get a pre-paid visa card from most post offices.

Hi Worldvet, there was no link behind windows registry, I think intellisense does not work on words that have a link already.

I forgot about that problem, I posted again, this time with the links, my first post was just a bit c..p, that is also reason for the confusion.

Yes, I noticed intellisense is confusing things, as it gets mixed with our links, I wonder if it would be possible having intellisense links in green, so that they dont get mixed with our links.

Hi benimur

Hi,

Appreciate the direct "Ask Me",.

There might be more than 1 version of this player depending on country of origin or intended marketing region hence the solution posted that you are referring to might not be applicable to your concern.

Offhand, I would suggest that you try a hard reset, that is unplug from the mains for an extended period of time (perhaps even overnight). The idea is to dissipate whatever residual power is inside the unit and hopefully thereafter, it will revert to factory defaults. Then try again. On the first power ON, wait till "NO DISC" is displayed, then try a known good disc. Alternately, you can also try, unplug, wait for a minute or so, press & hold the STOP button, plug the unit to the mains. You can also try that with the other buttons.

Should the above be not corrective, am afraid that the a firmware update/flash/reset is required by an authorized service center.

Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you n

KLH DVD 221

Hi,

My sincerest apologies. I was not made aware that you posted a direct request for assistance. It was only by chance that I saw your post.

To your concern should you still require information; most units would have a yellow, red and white connectors commonly called RCA. What is required then is a triple RCA to RCA connector as shown below. The yellow is normally connected to the video, while the red & white are for the R & L of the audio. An identical set would be on the rear of the TV unit henceforth the connection would be OUT from the KLH DVD 221 to the IN of the TV.

In some instances, a single cable is used to connect some models to the TV. This is called an RF patch cord and would look sonething like below. This would come form the RF OUT of the player to the RF/CABLE/ANT IN of the TV. Pls make sure that the style/form fits your units.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

PD DVR100

I thought I sent you an email two days ago that I have plugged in according to these diagrams and it still will not work. When I input Line 1 or Line 2, it does not "see" the Protron. In spite of this, I started the GoVideo playing a tape, and pressed the Record on the Protron, and what it recorded I do not know, as I was not successful in obtaining Disk Edit.
Question:
Maybe I should try to go from the TV through the GoVideo to the Protron?

Panasonic dvd recorder model dmr-e55eb/ebl. played dvd,no problem - ejected dvd - green/blue colouring appeared on TV which disappeared when dvd recorder switched off. since then unable to play dvds. ...

This is a problem with either the logic or the power supply. Without seeing the machine and taking measurements inside, I can't state for sure the exact problem. These are decent machines. I would suggest that you bring it to an authorized Panasonic service center for a repair estimate. Post the results here and we'll suggest the next steps.
