Re: my mp3 blinks blue
This is the worst mp3 player ever invented - i have to tell you this up front. There is no driver, the company does not support the product anymore - I would return it now while you still can.
Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

The frequency and color of the blinks will indicate the issue. There is a hold-down button sequence to try to backdoor your way into the set to see if the panel will light. You may have simply racked up too many "weird tuner faults" and need to reset it. My suspicion is that it's either that or bad panel backlight. To do this simply
Unplug set, press and hold (on set) volume-down and channel-down and hold them while pluging in the set Will come on with "k" on screen, or will crash again if backlight bad.
If it stays on, use your remote and arrow right then look for "fact init" and any other reset and turn them on. Arrow back up to "fact init" and hit enter.
Let set recycle to green and unplug/re-plug in 5 seconds: the set should be in OOB state.
The rapid-blinking blue light means that the Zen's battery is too drained to allow the player to turn on.
It can take 24 hours or more to completely recharge the Zen using USB. If you see the blue light blinking slowly when you plug it in, then the player is charging, and you will have to wait for it to finish charging.
If, after leaving the Zen to charge for more than a day, it still does not turn on, then the battery may be defective and not able to be charged anymore. The battery will have to be replaced.

,unplug it from the pc the unit should have stayed on (the blue LED's of
the wheel r on but no screen backlight) push the ON button on the side
and hold it push for a good 20 secon then releass it that will make the
unit do a soft reset and then turn it back on again it may chow the low
