click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The laptop may need more RAM.
Check the laptop's specification and then check the recommend computer configuration on the games software. If the computer is below the games recommended computer specification then the games will perform slower.

I have inno3d geforce fx5500 256 128bit ddr. i have not cd. when i download specific side inno3d geforce navidia but after downloading show message is not compatible whats problem.

Hi there!
You can go to this link and click on the downloads tab.
You can see two options there: first is to choose the specific driver to download and second is to let NVIDIA download and install the specific driver for your computer.
I suggest you try the first one if you know the specification of your computer.
If you are unsure of the things that you have on the computer, choose option number 2.
Hope this helps.

How do i know i sound driver of my computer?

If you have the manual, it's should be written there. If you don't have the manual, search for the computer's or motherboard's specification. In the google search box, type in the system's name with "specification" eg. Hp Mini 210 specification, and look for the specification. You'll be able to find out the sound card and the sound drive codec of that particular system or motherboard.

The best way to get the specs is from the manufacturer's website. If you need further help, let me know.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

What is a function of drivers

A device driver acts as a translator between a hardware device and the applications or operating systems that use it. Every version of a device, such as a printer, requires its own hardware-specific specialized commands.
Without the drivers the operating system can not communicate with the hardware such as Video Card, Sound Card, Printers, Scanners etc.

Good Luck!

Ram compatibility

pc2100 works on 266Mhz
pc2700 - 333Mhz won't work. If u have a pc 2100 supporting computer u can put a pc 2700 memory(it will work on the lower speed)

But u can try anyway... nothing can get damaged ... (i think, at u;re own risk...)

Joy stick problems.

  1. Test the device in another application to confirm if the issue is specific to that application.
  2. If the Logitech device functions properly in a different application, then the issue may be directly related to the application. If so, please contact the manufacturer of that software for application specific troubleshooting.
  3. If the issue is present in multiple applications, the issue may be specific to the computer itself. Please test the Logitech device on another compatible computer. If it functions properly on a different system, then there may be an issue with your computer. Please contact the manufacturer of your computer for system specific diagnostics.
