Button sticking when we pick up the handset the button sticks down

  • Anonymous Jun 03, 2012

I got an email saying I need to add details, so here ya go.

There's a button under the earpiece on the handset. When you pick up the phone, that button should pop up so you can answer the phone. The button does NOT come up - It stays down.

Any tips on the hand set setting for the phone. Everytime I do it, it lasts about a week and then is so loose the arm won't pick up the handset.

It sounds like your HL10 handset lifter is giving you problems. This link has a nice set-up video to help you.

Plantronics HL10 Handset Lifter

Here's a couple of other reminders: Pay close attention to placement of lifter under the handset for proper fit and also how the tape sticks to the phone. Make sure the cord is plugged completely into the base of the wireless headset (needs a good contact). For height adjustment, medium and high work best (the low setting is pretty useless).

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

My pc does not pick up my transcend memory stick.

Was this stick just installed? Turn it off pc, unplug it, and remove replace stick. Make sure the slot and stick are clean (blow out any dust/hair/ect)

Is it a new stick? It may be DOA (dead on arrival). Did you handle it correctly? You don't need an ESD band, just touch the case before picking up the stick in case you have any built up static electricity.

Object of the Game: To accumulate 500 points.

Game Play: A player should hold all the sticks (except for the Black Color Stick) upright with a hand on the table. Open the hand quickly, so that the sticks scatter on the table. The Black color stick is to be used as a tool

In picking up the other sticks. The first player picks up sticks one at a time, until he causes any other stick to move besides the one he is attempting to pick up. Players should keep track of the score by using the scoring chart as shown below.

Scoring Chart:

Blue Sticks - 50 Points

Green Sticks - 40 Points

Red Sticks - 25 Points

For your to format the memory stick of your sonyericsson handset, all you need to do is...

From homescreen, press menu>ORGANIZER>FILEMANAGER>press OPTIONS>SELECT MEMORY STATUS>SELECT MEMORY CARD>PRESS OPTIONS> now SELECT FORMAT MEMORY CARD and PRESS YES.. it will ask for a PHONE LOCK CODE, by default "0000" is the code for SONYERICSSON HANDSET.

OR, once you inserted the A NEW MEMORY STICK, it will immediately format it.

Madden NFL 07 instruction booklet

There are two optaions for you to find one, one of the simpler ones would be to find a video game store and ask if they have the booklet in stock and they should be able to give you one, or you can try e-bay, im sure there is something on there. I hope I have helped you in anyway.

27998GE6-C phone and buttons stick

The buttons got "sticky stuff" on the conductor pads. There is not much you can do unless you open the handset which I do not recommend unless you really know what you are doing.

If you do, or, are foolish or brave, open the handset, remove the rubber button pad and wipe the circuit board with rubbing alcohol. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER SOLVENTS.

Good luck.

GN 9120 beeps constantly

Are you using the GN1000 Handset Lifter? And if so, are you playing music/radio through the speaker of your telephone? If this is the case the Lifter will be picking up the sound of the music coming from the telephone and interpreting it as an incoming call, hence sending a signal to the earpiece in the form of beeps. Just stop the music coming from the telephone and the beeps should stop.
If you are not playing music through the telephone, you may need to turn down the sensitivity adjustment on the back of the Lifter. Just turn the knob anti-clockwise a little bit and see if that eliminates the beeping. If the sensitivity adjustment is too high it will pick up every little noise that goes on around your desk and interpet them as the phone ringing.

If you are not using the GN1000 Handset Lifter, then the beeping may be the result of a sticking/stuck volume button on the earpiece. If you adjust the volume on the GN9120 it gives a beep when you reach the maximum or minimum volume. If a button is stuck down it will result in a constant beeping. A stuck button is generally not a user servicable problem, however a little bit of tinkering with the button may get it unstuck.
