Question about Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital Camera
My Coolpix 4600 gives "Battery Exhausted" message even after changing batteries several times. I'm using long life lithiums, and they've been working fine for several hundred pictures.
SOURCE: Battery EXTREMELY Exhausted
As the other person says Nimh rechargable batteries are the best....Also somewhere in the menu system you will find that you need to define which type of battery you are using, this may be the cause...Nikon UK have an excellent after care team if all else fails.

Are you using rechargeable batteries? Even rechargeable batteries have a life span. If you get "Battery Exhausted" error, it means it is time to change the batteries for a new one.
I hope this helped you.
