How do I delete the songs that came on the MP3 player? When I look through the list of song in My Computer, those songs that came w/ the MP3 player don't show in My Computer.
Is there a way to create another "go list" or make folders on the MP3 Player? I just want to be able to organize the songs that I download on my MP3 player.
Thank You,
Jamir
You can make folders on your MP3 Player, but it will not be shown on the MP3 Player. It's useful if you would like to sort a specific artist/CD. When you plug the Mp3 Player in, it should have an "E" Drive. That's the MP3 Player. Then you delete a song like any other file.

You will need to open up the files and folders using the computer.
Follow these directions and locate the virus for removal.

There's no way of directly deleting a song on the player. You need to do it either via Windows Explorer, or a music manager program which "syncs" to your player.
To delete a song via Windows Explorer, connect your Sansa to your PC, open up "My Computer" (or "Computer" if you're running Vista), and you should see your Sansa listed there. Double-click on it. If you then see "Internal Memory", double-click on that. You should then see a list of folders including "Music". Double-click on that, and you should see a list of songs. If you see a list of folders named after your Artists, double-click on the appropriate Artist folders to find the songs you want to delete. Select the song(s) and press "delete" on your keyboard.
If you use a music manager program such as Windows Media Player, Media Monkey or Winamp to sync music onto your Sansa, just delete the song from the music manager library or playlist(s) you're syncing to your Sansa, then do another sync.

have you tried showing your hidden files and folders? just go to folders options. if you cant still find it, try deleting in your player...
if you still cant find it, i recommend to format your mp3 using the software providede by the manufacturer (a cd or a software) just make sure that you have a back up of your files from your mp3 so that can put it again on your player.
The songs are in the wrong format or have expired licenses
There are 2 ways to format an mp3 player - if you were formatting the mp3 player from "My Computer," then try reformatting from Windows Media Player instead - I have a "tips and tricks" entry on How to Format an Mp3 Player for details If that doesn't work, then double-click on My Computer, double-click on the Sansa player, and go to the various folders that it lists - music, voice, etc. Delete the songs ONLY - do not delete the dat, bat, ini, inf, or other system files
