( Dell xps m1530 laptop ) Monitor blank, powers up but screen won't come on.

It ISN'T the LCD screen. Since you diagnosed with an external VGA monitor, you now know the problem is the laptop.

(When you connect an external VGA monitor to a laptop, you are bypassing the Video Cable, and LCD screen. You are connected directly to the laptop )

The basic Windows files aren't being found. The boot files. This may mean a bad Harddrive.

Do you have the Restoration CD Disk? Laptop on insert it into the optical drive tray, close the tray.
When asked choose - Repair. (Non-Destructive Installation)

If a checkdisk is done, you have bad sectors on the harddrive.
There IS a special procedure in replacing a harddrive.

Msi net book web cam not working

Hopeless? Doubt it.
If memory serves, there isn't data on the computer on how to activate, and use the webcam.

Camera icon is in blue on the F6 key.

Hold down on the Fn key, and at the same time tap the F6 key.
On the screen should be the option to turn the Camera on.

Laptop when turned on display on screen "fan

When the laptop or PC is used, its processor and RAM gets heated. To keep it cool, a fan is used which circulates the air in the board. If there is no cooling system in the laptop, its circuit could be damaged by over heating. I think the fan in your laptop has malfunctioned or it is jammed by something. Turn over your laptop and try see if there is anything stuck in the blades of the fan. If there is anything, then take it out and then try to start your laptop. If there is nothing, then there is high possibility that the fan has malfunctioned. It would be better if you take it to service centre to get it repaired. Hope this helps you!!

Presario C714NR gr983UA#ABA ALPS touchpad does not work I have updated the BIOS and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but it still does not work

I had a similar issue with my ASUS. Try finding a program on your computer other than the Control Panel that controls the trackpad. For instance mine is Elan Smart-Pad. Usually working with some of the configurations in the program reinitialize the trackpad. If that doesn't work make sure that it isn't turned of due to keyboard interference (hitting a button that turns the trackpad off). Hopefully that isn't the case though.

Hi,

The problem with your laptop isn't related with power supply. Even if your battery isn't working, it would have started with the help of the Charger/External supply.

The actual problem seems to be related with the Planner/Motherboard. When it stops working, it causes major problem. You should consult the manufacturer of your computer and if it is in its warranty period, they'll repair/replace it for free.
