The pass key is the password the bluetooth accessory has. So your car stereo manufacturer has a code that you enter on your phone, so that someone nearby with a bluetooth cell phone won't be able to hook to your stereo - it's usually in your owners manual for your stereo or bluetooth speaker system.
Most bluetooth headsets have a passcode of 0000, and it's the same for Motorola headsets, plantronics headsets etc. You may be able to lookup the passcode for your bluetooth speaker system in a manual online, if you no longer have it.
You have to be on the root phone or "first phone". To check various phones -Hit {feature} 4. Should display 100= TEL 01. Once on the first phone then use {feature} 9 #. Time will flash at top of display and can be adjusted.
If you are not on the first phone you will get error at the top of the display. Leave the hand set on the hook.
Are you using speaker phone? Are you using the Hand Set?
If you are using the speaker phone, the first thing is to check the back end configuration of your IP phone system and Make sure that that Station has the Microphone Feature enabled. If it does, then the next step would be to configure a different phone with your same extension and ip. If that phone works fine, then it tells you that it is the microphone inside the original phone that is bad.
If it doesn't fix it, then the problem lies on some of the settings within your phone system.
Some other simply things to try if using the Handset, is 1) Replace the cord from the telephone base to the handset. 2) Grab a similar headset and hook it up to your phone. Test calling someone internally in the office, and out of the office.
