If I understand the question right are you trying to hear sound from your computer through your bose system? If you are then you need to hook a 1/8 mm headphone jack style cable on one end to the headphone jack on computer and on the other end of the cable you need a standard red and white rca type connection that hooks to back of bose system for sound. This cable is called a mini to rca stereo cable the pin connection for the computer has 2 little black bands around the plug there are 2 bands for 2 channel stereo sound.

I have a bose 321 system and I want to hook up HDMI cable, is there any way I can hook them up?

You must have been provided with a user guide/manual along with Bose 321 system . Follow the instructions on Set up 4 at page 12 wherein details have been given to connect HDMI cable along with the diagrams. Follow it. If you do not have the manual go to the following link and down load the manual in pdf

Hi,

What model of TV are you hooking the Bose system pls? Alternately, determine if the TV you are hooking it into has a pair of white and red RCA connector marked Audio OUT.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Can i hook up a bose 321 system to my computer?

Yes. In the back of the Bose there are Aux ports with RCA Phono jacks. You can get a 1/8" stereo male plug to 2 RCA male phono plugs at any Radio Shack and other places. It's about $6.

Bose 3-2-1 - trouble connecting to Samsung 26" LCD monitor

Sounds like you might be out of luck with the older 3-2-1 system. I am in the same boat, and am thinking I will only be able to utilize the "audio out" on the back of my Samsung LCD, and run that to the "aux in" on the Bose 3-2-1. This of course will not allow me to utilize the 3-2-1's DVD player, but by using a seperate DVD player, such as a Blu-Ray hooked to the LDC TV, the video will make it to the screen, and then the audio should make it through the Bose 3-2-1 speakers. Probably not the "best" solution, but one that I am going to attempt.

VOLUME ISSUE

I had my older bose 321 hooked up through vcr and sounded great. Then hooked it up through directv receiver and sounded better. then switched from direct to comcast and hooked the bose up throught the comcast hd receiver and the volume is aweful. same deal, have to crank it up high. Since the stereo built into the tv sounds so much better I disconnected the bose and am going to sell it.
