Question about NetGear WGT624 Wireless Router
Tried to get a second lap top on line. It asked for my password; never had to use this before because I always used just my one lap top.
Purchased WGR614 July, 2008.
Had help connecting with agent #1581,
How may I check to see what my password is?
Will I have to redesignate a new password?
open up a web browser then type in one of the following addresses...just the numbers ie no "www." an ".com"
192.168.1.1 (this is probably it)
once you get to the routers page, just go into admin mode. You will be prompted for a user name(=admin) and a password(="password"). that should allow you to see what you have your password set as. Hope this helps.
If this helps please rate this as a fixya or helpful.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
