You have one speaker that has a short, a good way to find it quick is turn radio off and on if any of them pop even the slightest that is where your problem is...if you dont hear a pop check that all wires are not touching a ground somewhere this send the unit into protection, just one speaker or wire will do this .it keeps the radio from burning up...

I recently installed 4 speakers, a deck, an amp, and subs into my truck. About 8 hours after I installed them the speakers suddenly went down, the subs kept thumping, but the speakers are down.

The speaker wire connected to the amplifier if you used one could have come lose or in the back of the cd deck could have come lose. Just check those basics first to make sure everything is strongly connected and make sure you have the correct gauge wire because if you have something rated to high or too low it might not create a solid link

My e470 main speaker on the front speake does not work. Ive checked the wiring and memenbrane al all is in order. Does it mean the speake \r is blown. Can I have it repaired or buy a new speaker if so...

It's not clear what BRAND of speaker we're talking about here. If it's JAMO...

It IS bi-amp capable. Is the jumper in place?

You could disconnect the jumper and measure its resistance of the main speaker with an ohmmeter, dead short or open is a dead speaker. Something around its specified impedance would be normal. Take a small battery and just briefly touch the speaker leads. It should make a static-like sound. If it DOES, go back to the wiring checkout.

No sound listening to music and audio stopped

Tape monitor is it on? Muting? How old is this unit? Does speaker relay click on secoinds after unit powers on? If relay does not click probably output problem. Try disconnecting speaker wires to see if relay will click. If it does click the suspect bad wire or speaker if not bad amp. The first step to diag is to diconnect everything and simplify the citems needed to get sound. 1 Known good signal source and cable, Minimum affects, check speaker switch, Known good wire and 1 speaker to front l or r terminal. iIf still know sound seek serv.

Sounds like the ground wire for the battery is not making clean contact. Trace that wire and clean both ends and the area it connects to the engine block. Good luck!

Harman kardon just went dead

You may have overloaded it. Let it rest and cool down. Check the resistance on the speaker to make sure it is in spec with your amp.

Make sure someone didn't accidentally mute it or bump the audio in source wiring.

Make sure your speaker choice (A or B or both or none for headphones only) is correct.

Computer speakers

Are you sure your in the right slot with the speaker wire at the back of your PC it is the green imput. Make sure that the speakers are pluged in if there is a plug for them.
Sorry for sounding a bit basic I'm sure you have already checked these but sometimes people forget.

The volume may be turned off on the status bar at the bottom left of you destop. This is a small speaker double click it and check that the volume is not turned off.

there is no drivers ar anything for the actual speakers unless there is a problem with the sound card in your Dell.

Will you just check that all the wiring is correct and I will guide you through the trouble shooting to see is there anything wrong in the drivers if everthing is ok wiring wise.

Fade F to R not working on Sony CDXF7000

Hi, To my knowledge, this head unit (Sony CDXF7000) uses individual 52 watts amplifier (X 4) whose output to the speakers require that none of the speaker wires be grounded or crossed/shorted. Please check the speaker wiring with the use of an ohmmeter (or a multi tester) with all the speakers temporarily disconnected. Verify that none of the 8 wires reads 0 ohms to body/chassis ground or to any of the other wires. As you have checked the wires area: front left > + red & - white/black stripe; front right> + gray & - gray/black stripe; rear left > + green & - green/black stripe; rear right > + purple & - purple/black stripe. Rewire should it be necessary. If the wiring fully checks out, it may be that you have a fader component failure inside the unit (though honestly rare). You can also check if there is no bridging modifications done; converting your 4 amp-4 speakers original design to a bridged 4X52=2X100watt amp to 4 speakers paralleled to 2. Another area you can check/try is by varying the DSO settings - 1,2,3,off. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
