Some players have a reject hole in the front of it to open the tray.
Have a close look at the tray or around the tray for a very small hole. If you poke a needle or something like it in the hole it should allow the tray to open.
There is a small hole on the front of DVD near buttons... Straighten paper clip and insert into hole, a gentle push should release tray so you can open and remove disk..Sounds like you did not seat DVD properly
Try unplugging the device for a minute or so, and replugging it in. If this doesn't help, take it in to have it open and your disk removed. the tray could have fell out of sprocket or the tracks.
Hope this helps-
this problem is due to bad handling of cd tray... tray is not opening whether its motor is damaged or cd tray is resisted by something from opening.... i recomend that send your machine to the company for checking... dont try to solve it manually by opening it if you dont want to cry in the end... opening will void its warranty..
sometimes the timing cam that is just below the tray, it is a plastic bar with teeth along its edge will get out of sync with the tray, draw it to the opossite end and put the player back together and the players tray assembly will re sync itself...i hope this helps you
