Connecting VP calls to other devices

posted by AnnieASL on Jan 12, 2007

I need to make VP (videophone) calls to Sorenson VP100 using my D-Link i2eye device. I can accept calls from the VP100, but I can not make any outgoing VP calls to anyone's VP100 from my D-Link i2eye. I do not want to go thru Sorenson VRS services since I am fluent in sign language and want to make direct calls to the Deaf.

D-link i2eye to D-link i2eye videophone calls work fine for incoming and outgoing calls.

How do I get my D-Link i2eye to place outgoing calls to Sorensons VP100? I have used IP addresses for VP100 to no avail... argh!

Help! Thanks!

Evidently you are using the D-link service to receive calls. You will need to use the IP address of the VP100. D-link service is only compatible with D-link
