I have had this problem previously. sometimes it would work if i sent a message to myself. other times, i would have to just wait a few minutes, and then try again. also, i have made a call, and only then would my messages be sent. personally, i think this phone is horrible.

did you got this phone out from market and not from your wireless service provider ??
here is what you need... MMS settings call customer care of your wireless provider and ask for the MMS settings... they will send the settings to your phone and you save it in your phone.. thats it... its all that simple. then try send/rec pic messages
I have had a pantech for a while and have had similar problems. It is not a permanent solution, but this will do a bit of help. DO NOT FORGET that when deleting messages, you have to go to menu then tools and "empty deleted messages". For a short fix, and sometimes a long while, simply take out the battery, take out the SIM card, and blow out the little connection. Blow off the SIM card and battery and put everything back.
hello have you tried From your text message screen click MENU then FOLDERS. Highlight the
folder you want and click MENU then DELETE ALL to remove even ones
saved to the SIM or CLEAR MESSAGES to delete just ones stored on the
phone. also a manual can be download for futher refference if needed .
